The Kia Spectra is a compact car available as a sedan or a hatchback in EX and SX trims. Ride is comfortable, interior quiet, but the engine is noisy. Interior fit and finish is of a high quality. Acceleration is spotry with an assured passing on a highway, but it still lacks agility and fuel consumption is not agitating. The Spectra comes with a high level of standard safety equipment. The control buttons layout and ergonomics are very handy.
| | | Kia Spectra Strengths Responsive engine, competitive price, quietness, well-finished interior, standard side-curtain airbags, comfortable front seats, smooth transmission, good fuel economy. | |
| | Kia Spectra Weaknesses Noisy engine, hard to find with ABS, flabby handling, not agile. |
