The Infiniti's M Series flagship is definitely the M45 which is all about the driving experience. The M45 was designed for buyers who wanted something in the gap between G35 and the flagship Q45. The M45 has all the nine yards including the 335-hp V-8 with an ample torque and abundant civility, the slurring smooth five-speed automatic, the basic suspension setup tuned for compliance, the beautifully weighted, never overboosted speed-sensitive steering, a great sound system, comfortable, firm and supportive ventilated seats, and enough interior space to suit passengers of all sizes with plenty of standard amenities.
All this for just under $52,000.
The center-console panel with the mass of buttons combined with the pseudo-iDrive is the least-liked aspect of the car. | | | Infiniti M Series Strengths Acceleration - explosive power from smooth V8, capable handling, plenty of luxury features, excellent telepathic transmission, real-time link to traffic reports in metro areas, outstanding fit and finish, athletic chassis, spacy interior. | |
| | Infiniti M Series Weaknesses Noisy ride, complicated center stack controls, sport package gives a firm ride. |
