The Dodge Caravan & Grand Caravan minivans are available in two main trim levels -- SE and SXT (there's also a cargo van version). A variety of options are available on all Caravans, including automatic climate control, leather upholstery, an Infinity sound system, a rear DVD entertainment system and a navigation system. The Caravans are pleasant to drive and ride in, have a roomy interior, but still falls behind the competition. The 3.8-liter V6 isn't smooth or fuel-efficient. It shows its limitations on bumpy corners in terms of handling and steering. Reliability and resale value are still in question.

Dodge Caravan Strengths
Excellent ride and handling characteristics, good low-end pull from the engine, flexible interior, roomy cabin, fold-flat second- and third-row seats.

Dodge Caravan Weaknesses
Unimpressive reliability, suspension, low resale value, steering, slack-back driver's seat, passengers seats comfort, stability control is not available, interior trim materials.
