The Audi A6 is a real threatening rival to the class-leading BMW 5 Series. It's styling has been refreshed with a more aggressive front end. Inside, there is a high quality cabin, masses of legroom front and rear, plus a huge boot. Despite the dimensions, the A6 is an entertaining drive.
The sum-ups: the car is very capable and pampering. Handling is responsive and secure. The ride is firm yet comfortable. Crash-test results are excellent.

Audi A6 Strengths Heavenly cabin furnishings, attractive styling; crisp handling; all-wheel-drive utility; strong six- and eight-cylinder power plants; four-wheel traction; solid performance; elegant cabin design. |

Audi A6 Weaknesses Steering not as sharp as the BMW's, no manual transmission available, controversial nose, too sensitive throttle, brake responses. |
